The Verizon’s Samsung Droid Charge Android Gingerbread ROM is Available Now

We all know that the Samsung Droid Charge Android smartphones from Verizon are still running on Android 2.2 Froyo and there is still no news about when the update to Android 2.3 Gingerbread will come from either the Verizon or Samsung.
However, if you don’t feel like to wait for the official update, you still can get the unofficial Android Gingerbread ROM from My Droid World right now. Well, since it is an unofficial Android Gingerbread ROM, there are some features that still don’t work.
The features that don’t work include the issues on text message, the HDMI and the Hotspot app that don’t work, and some market apps that won’t show up because this is an unofficial ROM.
Well, it seems that the unofficial Android Gingerbread ROM is quite interesting, but it comes with great risks. So, if you are a risk taker, you might want to try it. Yet, if you feel unhappy with the ROM and want to go back to the previous firmware, they also provide a link for the downgrade.
So, if you are a kind of a risk taker, just click HERE to download the Android Gingerbread ROM.
